On-site across Brickell and the neighborhoods around it
The point of hiring someone local is that they're local. Below is where I can be same-day, and where I'd rather say up front that someone closer is a better bet.
Brickell
Home base. I live in a Brickell tower, so for most of the neighborhood a visit means a short walk rather than a drive and a parking search. Same-day is normal here, not a special favor.
The work is what you'd expect from high-rise living. Wi-Fi that can't get through concrete to the second bedroom, home office setups for people working remotely, printers that refuse to connect, and a lot of new-laptop migrations. If your building keeps an approved vendor list or asks for insurance paperwork, tell me when you book and I'll get it over to your management office first.
Brickell Key
A short walk over the bridge. Same service, same day, same prices. Access usually needs to be arranged with the front desk in advance, so let me know the building when you book and I'll sort it out rather than turning up and waiting in the lobby.
Downtown Miami
A quick ride north. Downtown splits about evenly between residential towers and small offices, and it's where a lot of the office IT work comes from. Small firms with a handful of people, no IT support, and a network somebody's cousin set up in 2019.
Edgewater
Newer buildings, and a lot of short-term rental units. Wi-Fi and smart lock work dominates here. Same-day is usually fine, and I'll tell you when booking if it needs to be next morning instead.
Coconut Grove
More houses than towers, which changes the work. Bigger properties, more Wi-Fi coverage problems across multiple floors, and more full-house network setups. Worth booking a day ahead where you can.
Everywhere else
Remote support works anywhere with an internet connection, at the same $89 flat rate, and it solves most software problems without anyone needing to travel.
For on-site outside the areas above, places like Wynwood, Little Havana, Key Biscayne, Midtown or Coral Gables, just ask. I'll take it if I can do it right. If the travel makes the price unfair to you, I'll say so and point you somewhere better. Being close is the actual product here, and pretending otherwise would be a bad deal for both of us. See exactly what that proximity is worth in the full comparison.
